The Business Process Architect role is responsible for driving the end-to-end design and development of business process service solutions; coordinating a globally diverse cross-functional teams (e.g., technology, mobilization, governance, delivery) to build innovative service solutions for several of the major global companies in North America. The Business Process Architect will work on BPO solutions for leading clients that provide Finance, HR, Procurement Services to their customers. This person is the single point of contact with responsibilities that include:


  • Understand and translate buyer requirements into the right collection of standard solution offerings, build the solution architecture, work plan, resource sourcing plan, the cost estimates and final proposal leveraging standard process methods and deliverables.

  • Must be able to understand and articulate all details and specifications of the proposed solution.

  • Must be analytical and able to back up a solution with proof points, facts and figures.

  • Coordinates and leads all solution approvals.

  • Collaborate as a key member of the sales team to represent the solution offering to the client buyer and other internal Accenture groups and align the solution with the final terms and conditions.

  • Interface with the delivery organization to ensure effective transition, shape of services, collaborate on clear solution assumptions, and determine appropriate service delivery locations.

  • Ensure delivery architecture is designed according to policies standards and that the solution is benchmarked externally.

  • Maintain a keen understanding of marketplace intelligence trends, competition, etc., to provide market leading perspectives, emerging trends, tools, and techniques that can be effectively hep to develop and promote new businesses.


  • Required Experience:


  • Must be located in Costa Rica

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Postgraduate Studies in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, HR and/or Procurement

  • 5+ years of leadership management experience

  • 5+ years of experience in specific process

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Solution Configuration or Deal Shaping for BPO. Alternatively, equivalent BPO experience in Finance, HR, Procurement Delivery and/or Services Transition would be also considered

  • Experience in Business Reporting

  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills, must feel comfortable working with large excel models

  • Fluent in English, level C1+/90% or more in written and verbal communications

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with different teams and leadership

  • Time management and organizational skills, must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Must have a continuous improvement mindset

  • Must have strong leadership and influencing skills

  • Ability to work cross functionally

  • Must be able to set clear goals and timelines for the team and have the capability to achieve them in time and shape

  • Must have strong Decision-Making skills

  • Must have the flexibility to work any shift and for long hours when required

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Must have strong analytical skills and be able to see the big picture

  • Must have strong presentation skills

  • Must be goal-oriented
