Job Description

We are currently seeking a People Services Sr. Specialist to join our team as we continue to expand our rapidly growing global team in the Costa Rica market. This new role will help to support our North and South America People Services team as well as global program initiatives. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to support and transform our regional processes, enhance our operations, and provide excellent support to our employees.

Responsibilities

• Operate as primary resource for global background check transformation initiatives
• Partner with compliance team to execute, build and implement various compliance processes
• Act as primary point of contact for Canada, LATAM, and South America programs
• Create and maintain process documentation for North and South America
• Partner with ServiceNow project team to modify operational processes, enhance reporting and execute ServiceNow projects accordingly
• Act as primary point of contact and lead for operational partnership with the payroll team
• Support payroll implementation projects for LATAM and South America countries
• Provide local insight on policies, procedures, and best practices for LATAM and South America countries
• Assist with ad hoc global projects and priorities as needed
• Support HRIS implementation projects as needed
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working in human resources is required, preferably with a background in People Ops or HR technologies
• Experience in a fast-paced, high growth work environment
• Experience supporting operational HR programs
• Experience supporting HR functions across multiple countries (US, Mexico, Brazil, Costa Rica)
• Experience with project management and business transformation
• Strong experience in Excel
• A passion for organizational culture, design, the future of work and human-centric People approaches
• Experience working with and optimizing HR platforms/technologies
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Friendly, energetic and comfortable operating in a fluid environment
• Must exercise absolute discretion both inside and outside the company
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and Portuguese is preferred
