The DAM Product Owner is part of our AEM Platform Strategy team within the Marketing Capabilities & Agency Services team which is part of the broader Marketing + Communications (M+C) Intelligent Services group. Within M+C, this role helps ensure that our marketing teams operate at world class levels and consistently innovate and improve to remain best-in-industry.

This critical role drives the strategic direction and delivery of all Accenture Marketing + Communications (M+C) asset distribution capabilities. This includes shaping the design, implementation, and operation of our Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution and any other asset distribution channels needed to support M+C. This position requires strategic thinking to devise technical solutions to meet business requirements while having the ability to function as a translator between non-technical and technical teams.

As the DAM Product Owner, you will be the de facto go-to subject matter expert” for asset distribution capabilities aimed at aggregating and ensuring assets are accessible. The need to develop and maintain strong relationships across the M+C organization so you can better understand needs and define technology requirements to generate value is crucial. You will partner regularly with other members of the Digital Asset Management team to inform strategic planning and deliver against timelines, and define, then manage, the future roadmap and system integration points to drive continued value and connectivity across the capabilities.

Given asset management capabilities incorporate delivery of functionality to support asset development from conception all the way through archiving, the operations and processes need to account for all of marketing and communications as well as our internal and external creative agency partners.

Responsibilities:


  • Be the voice and key point of contact for our M+C stakeholders to understand use case and distill, prioritize, and implement new requirements

  • Work with the functional team to manage the design, development, QA, user acceptance testing, implementation (end-to-end)

  • Advise on areas of risk, raise issues early and provide work-in-progress (WIP) status

  • Articulate the value of asset distribution channels to leadership, sponsors, and users of systems

  • Partner with CIO Change Management team to execute against overall DAM strategy

  • Work with operations to keep daily and weekly status on items

  • Partner with potential integration owners to better understand systems and provide business system integration mapping support with CIO Technical teams

  • Ensure capabilities and processes meet procurement, data privacy, legal etc., requirements and standards

  • Work with Librarians to oversee user adherence to the established tagging, taxonomy, process, and governance for the DAM globally across all of M+C and advise on administrative actions – Smart Collections, Metadata, Archiving, Rights Management and KPI reporting

  • Demonstrations of DAM and DAM Portal when requested

  • Ensure that the storing, archiving, and taxonomy information is consistent

  • Review and monitor the folder structures in the DAM

  • Partner with CIO and Group Librarians to manage DAM platforms’ health

  • Function as the main point of contact for assist management-related request fulfillment and issue resolution for the Group Librarians

  • Build content/creative Best Practices, Knowledge, Insights that align to the Brand Standards to support Content Producers & Designers (including internal and external Agency Partners)

  • Coordinate with internal and external partners (including Agencies) on the creation and delivery of creative assets in required formats with desired timeframes

  • Management, coordination, prioritization and implementation for Sprints and Release Summaries


  • Job Requirements:


  • Minimum 5-7 years combined experience in marketing operations, DAM Global Librarian or DAM Product Owner roles

  • Expert skills in written and oral communication in English C1, storytelling, presentation, influencing, problem solving and the ability to communicate between technical and non-technical audiences

  • Expertise in AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) capabilities, focus on Assets

  • Mastery in the understanding of DAM, CMS (Content Marketing System) platforms, ADA (Accessible Digital Assets), metadata, taxonomy, file formats and SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

  • Prowess with process flows and workflow design

  • Proven command in researching and evaluating tools, and drafting technical requirements

  • In depth understanding of the creative production process and marketing and communications roles

  • Adroitness understanding of Agile development methodology

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite knowledge and ability, especially Excel, Word, PPT. Experience with workflow and production tools a (Workfront, Monday.com, etc.)

  • Aptitude for effective collaboration in a cross functional work environment; experiences working with global teams across time zones
