You role at Baxter:
Being our Laboratory Supervisor, your support will be vital in promoting compliance with quality requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Advocate for ICare's initiatives. Critical role in solving issues impacting product quality, safety, efficiency, and regulatory consistency. You will continuously seek regulatory excellence in your process. You will work as a team for the continuous improvement of the area in which you are, and we will provide you with support for this

This team oversees analyzing, preparing and presenting effective offers with zero errors in the efficiency indicator, strengthening the effectiveness indicator and contributing to strategic sales plans through the bidding channel, which supports our mission to save and sustain lives.
What you'll be doing :
Responsible for the coordination of laboratory maintenance activities. Among them the execution of the microbiological analyses that are carried out for the environmental control of the plant: bioburden analysis of the final product, endotoxin analysis of the final product, microorganisms in air, microorganisms on surfaces, compressed air, among others. Likewise, handle the supply requirements of the areas in charge. Is responsible for ensuring the quality of the sterilized product for Baxter, Carthage. You must take corrective actions when applying and design/maintain the procedures applicable to the area.

3. Responsible for reviewing and updating local procedures; as well as to ensure compliance with the requirements of the divisional specifications. This implies the implementation of changes by CDR

4. Coordinate and carry out activities related to the microbiological validation of the new production areas and their requalification. Additionally, coordinate and carry out activities related to the validation and/or requalification of equipment and/or systems used in specific microbiology and chemistry tasks.

5. Responsible for opening and closing the exception documents that are generated due to situations of non-conformity in any of the activities related to the operation of the microbiology and chemistry laboratory.

6. Supervise and lead the human resources of the area through processes such as training, professional development

and performance evaluations. In addition, he is responsible for the assignment of objectives and priorities of the area.

7. Establishment and execution of the development plans of the associates under their charge, promoting knowledge in the specific tasks of each position. Maintain and procure an environment of safety, well-being and organization in the areas under charge

8. Responsible for follow the tasks related to the operation and coordination of the Dosimetry Laboratory.

9. Support all initiatives of the environmental occupational health and safety program that are developed in the plant. Ensure compliance with the rules derived from it.

10. Use the BaxLIMS computer system as the official platform to pass laboratory tests of validated modules, including raw materials, finished product tests, and environmental monitoring tests
What you'll bring to the table !!

• Bachelor's degree in microbiology, Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or in a related career.
• 2 years of experience in similar positions.
