About The Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of facility systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting the commissioning, qualification, and validation of critical systems, including cleanrooms, Building Management Systems (BMS), and other critical utilities.

What You’ll Do

• Perform documentation changes, like updates to Gowning and Environmental Monitoring SOP's.
• Supervise day-to-day facility sustaining activities, like cleaning, plague control, and other site procedures.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors.
• Support the installation of new chillers, including:
• Coordination of arrival of new equipment.
• Coordination with contractor to execute the installation activities.
• Coordination with advisors to perform equipment inspections and approval of submittals.
• Supervise Company's cleaning and technical personnel, including:
• Planning and assignment of tasks.
• Preventive maintenance activities review and approval.
• Closure of tasks in the applicable systems.
• Timesheets review and approval.
• Preparation and maintenance of a Project Tracker with weekly updates for Management Review.
• Knowledge transfer to client during and at completion of the project.
• Other tasks as agreed upon between the Liaisons listed in this Statement of Work.
  

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in facilities engineering within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry.
• Understanding and familiarity with critical utility systems such as BMS, HVAC, OFA, RODI, medical gases, and power, which are essential for cleanroom and facility operations.
• Proficiency in managing and understanding critical utility systems, including BMS, HVAC, OFA, RODI, medical gases, and power, essential for facility operations.
• Language: Spanish: Native Speaker, English: Fluent speaking, writing and reading.
