The Role:

As the Talent Acquisition Manager at Snap Finance, you will play a pivotal role in developing, driving, and enforcing the Talent Acquisition vision and strategy aligned with the company's current dynamic plans and long-term future. This role also brings a great opportunity for impact in driving our talent acquisition strategies, making critical decisions, and optimizing recruitment processes using data insights as you partner and consult with stakeholders at all levels in the organization.

You will lead shape and scale the existing team in partnership with the Chief People Officer while collaborating with business leaders, hiring managers, recruiting partners, vendors, and resources as needed. You and your team will play a crucial role in strengthening partnerships with leaders cross-functionally, sharing market intelligence, and contributing to Snap Finance's strategic talent planning efforts.

This position will sit in our Salt Lake City or Costa Rica office with a hybrid schedule.

What you will do:

  • Develop, drive, and enforce the Talent Acquisition vision and strategy aligned with Snap's current and long-term plans.
  • Support both organic and inorganic talent demands, ensuring a target-centric talent pipeline while upholding Snap Finance's unique culture.
  • Lead and execute end-to-end talent acquisition programs, projects, and activities across various locations within the USA and Costa Rica, from workforce planning to candidate sourcing, selection, and onboarding.
  • Leverage recruitment data and analytics to develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of data-driven talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals and workforce planning needs.
  • Identify, implement, and monitor key performance metrics for talent acquisition linked to critical business targets.
  • Manage and oversee all third-party interactions globally, including BPO (contingent, contract-to-hire, & payroll service vendors) and sourcing and recruiting agencies.
  • Promote the Employee Value Proposition to attract top talent and retain employees.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve and streamline the corporate recruiting strategy and process, ensuring a more efficient process.
  • Utilize social media and diversity sites to effectively recruit talent across the business, including posting job vacancies appropriately.
  • Work closely with Human Resources Leadership Team to establish and align key metrics, KPIs, and SLA
  • Partner with People Operations to manage the Applicant Tracking System (Workday) effectively.
  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to provide recruitment expertise. and build exceptional teams.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop compelling recruiting materials and leverage Corporate Social Responsibility to manage feedback through Social Media sites.

What you bring to the role:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a proven track record of leading and building high-performing and cross-cultural teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  • 3+ years of expertise in applicant tracking system (ATS), data analytics, recruitment technology tools, workforce planning, talent acquisition methodologies, and HR best practices.
  • Knowledge of Workday ATS a plus.
  • Manage talent acquisition activities across multiple locations, including the USA, Costa Rica.
  • A pulse on the competitive fintech landscape and up-to-date knowledge of recruiting tools (AI) and industry trends.
  • Ability to set team goals to meet talent acquisition demand and effectively communicate the vision to the team and hiring managers.
  • Proven ability to prioritize candidate experience and resolve challenging situations for team members and customers.
  • Strong leadership competencies with the ability to effectively engage with clients, partners, and third parties.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and follow through on talent acquisition projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Adaptability and initiative in managing change within the organization.
  • Excellent partnership-building skills, fostering high-quality relationships with stakeholders.
  • A passion for Snap Finance's mission, vision, values, and goals, as a true culture ambassador.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively at all levels.
  • An open and receptive attitude, valuing feedback.
  • Experience collaborating with cross functional teams and partners.
  • Familiarity with fintech industry concepts to understand the impact of talent acquisition on overall business objectives.
