Job Description

Tooling Technician 2:
Carry out (corrective, breakdown and preventive) maintenance of the molds, based on the technical knowledge and practical insights, structural improvements and remedying the most complex failures.

Your role:

• Responsible for performing Tool Room maintenance tasks as necessary.
• Troubleshoots issues with the mold to identify root causes and performs necessary repairs to ensure parts made are within quality specifications.
• Performs necessary mold repairs to spare parts to ensure mold use is optimized.
• Demonstrates proficiency in utilizing machining equipment in the tool shop to improve and repair molds to their optimal levels.
• Initiates communication and interaction with the Manufacturing Team to maintain full cavitation, utilization and efficiencies of the molds.
• Performs preventative maintenance activities to the molds.
  
  

You're the right fit if:

• High school education with a technical degree on Precision Mechanics or a combination of equivalent job experience in related field
• Knowledge about safety (use of security equipment and protection during an equipment intervention)
• 3 years of experience as a Precision technician (Molds, SolidWorks).
• Basic English
• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Auto Cad , Mastercam use solid works or inventor system).
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing
• CNC equipment experience
• Shift A1, From Sunday thru Wednesday and Sunday thru Tuesday, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an Onsite role.
