About The Role

The IT System Analyst is an experienced technical professional that plays a crucial, hands-on role in supporting our manufacturing operations through the implementation and management of IT systems. This role will be part of a team responsible for the daily administration of the network and server environment including our O365 tenancy. Installs, configures, and maintains the servers in a VMWare environment. Monitors network performance, troubleshoots issues, and deploys solutions. Plans and implements upgrades and patches the server and network environment. Maintains and follows disaster recovery, security, backup, and restore plans. May evaluate new tools or equipment and perform analysis/feasibility studies to guide decisions on optimizing network performance. This position involves analyzing current systems, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with the team to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in managing a complex server and network infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experiencing with administering VMware, VSphere, VCenter and VM backups.
  • Proficient with Windows server administration activities, ADUC, Group Policies, etc.
  • Proven experience as an IT System Analyst or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Office 365
  • Strong understanding of Networking protocols, design, and architecture.
  • Routing and switching, Firewall and security management, VPN/ Wireless Networking
  • Fluent Bilingual - Spanish/English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Certifications to demonstrate strong technical understanding, such as Microsoft MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CCNP, CompTIA Security+

Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective IT solutions.
  • Implement and configure new systems, ensuring they meet business needs and compliance standards.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolutions.
  • Prepare documentation and training materials for end-users to facilitate smooth transitions to new systems.
  • Plan, set up, and configure computer networks, including hardware devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Provide level 2/3 technical support to end-users for end point issues, network-related issues, ensuring that they can access resources and applications seamlessly to support their business processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of the network topology, configurations, and procedures for troubleshooting.
  • Respond promptly to network emergencies and outages, implementing solutions to minimize downtime and restore normal
