SUMMARY: Ensures that the facilities maintenance is established and deployed within Confluent Medical (Nitinol Devices & Components) in accordance with recognized international standards. Supervises facilities technicians and provides direction regarding organizational objectives. Communicates effectively with various internal and external key contacts. Is responsible for the management of the maintenance of the buildings and its equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Tracks maintenance schedule and its documentation.Performs and documents corrective enhance to buildings and their equipment.Manages the monitoring activities related to CER and controlled areas in all buildings.Supports EHS and Janitorial areas.Plans and oversees the facilities technicians work, as well as vendors.Creates and follow up regulatory documentation as required for the areas of Facilities and Janitorial.May troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, facilities or hydraulic systems, and equipment.Performs daily inspections to equipment and premises.When applicable, follows standard operating procedures for all tasks.Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.Attends to Facilities staff meetings.Supports actively department goals.Manages the card reader access control system and supports CCTV system.Ensures the proper operation of facilities equipment.Places requisitions and tracks purchases.Supports department audits.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor degree in engineering or related, advanced degree preferred. 2-3 years of related experience. Clean Room Environmental knowledge is preferred.Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Ability to lead and manage self-directed work teams. Ability to audit areas identifies non-compliance to requirements, and develop/oversee action plans for corrective action. Written and oral English communication skills required. Able to read blueprints schematics and drawings. Must understand and have ability to analyze production lines as well as facilities equipment.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
