We are seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual Manufacturing Engineer with hands-on experience in the medical device industry. This role focuses on equipment validation, quality processes, and product management. The ideal candidate will be skilled in launching new product lines and coordinating with clients to ensure successful implementation. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to support global operations and cross-functional collaboration.

About This Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual Manufacturing Engineer with hands-on experience in the medical device industry. This role focuses on equipment validation, quality processes, and product management. The ideal candidate will be skilled in launching new product lines and coordinating with clients to ensure successful implementation. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to support global operations and cross-functional collaboration.
What You Will Work On
- Lead manufacturing equipment validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and documentation.
- Support quality processes to ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and other regulatory standards.
- Manage product lifecycle activities, from development through production and post-launch support.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to align on product specifications, timelines, and deliverables.
- Assist in the launch of new product lines, including process setup, training, and troubleshooting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide bilingual communication and documentation in English and Spanish to support international teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the medical device industry.
- Strong knowledge of equipment validation, quality systems, and product management.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (FDA, ISO 13485).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing documentation tools.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with cleanroom environments and GMP practices.
- This is a fully remote, independent contractor role.
