Purchasing Intern

Job Description:

SUMMARY: Responsible for end-to-end execution of purchasing processes within Organization sites, Functions, etc. Responsible for process communication, deployment, continual improvements and ensure deadlines are met. Student Interns are expected to learn from the experience as well as contribute to CMT goals. Internships are typically designed for undergraduate and graduate students and are expected to learn from the experience as well as contribute to Confluent Medical’s goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Research and manage the onboarding process for new suppliers.
• Work within CMT business units in Supply Chain/Purchasing strategy.
• Follow-up of the supply of materials
• Proactive, responsible person with capacity of working under pressure.
• Data-driven approach for trend analysis and operational improvements.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Advanced student in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or similar etc. Advanced English (written and spoken). Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet and graphics.

WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS: Monday – Friday.

Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
