We are seeking a professional to lead and oversee the global Accounts Payable function. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, while driving efficiency and consistency across processes. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in financial operations, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven ability to collaborate across functions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices or manufacturing is highly desirable.
How you´ll make an impact:
We are seeking a professional to lead and oversee the global Accounts Payable function. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, while driving efficiency and consistency across processes. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in financial operations, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven ability to collaborate across functions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices or manufacturing is highly desirable.
How you´ll make an impact:
- Supervise employees and oversee the daily Accounts Payable activities including establishing schedules, and ensuring staff is appropriately trained to perform assigned work. Update progress reports and metrics to management and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Resolve complex and/or escalated issues from Accounts Payable staff.
- Ensure payment are processed and approved in a timely manner; transmit positive pay file to bank and resolve issues as needed
- Ensure SOX compliance over the travel and expense reimbursement area; Review and update SOX narratives annually
- Lead and develop policies and procedures to streamline Accounts Payable process
- Resolve complex issues to bring reimbursement to closure by collaborating with other departments
- Review and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure travel and expense reimbursement accruals are appropriate for month end close
- Perform Accounts Payable activities (including supervisor tasks within Coupa)
- Other incidental duties assigned by Leadership; Participate internal and external audit requests
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration or related fields and 6 years of previous experience in accounts payable including demonstrated track record in supervising staff.
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel with full knowledge of accounts payable system.
- Experience working with ERPs such as JDE or SAP,
- Experience working with Coupa tool.
- Experience working in a medical device and/or manufacturing industry.
- Full understanding of procedures as it relates to assigned area of accounts payable including knowledge of all aspects of processes used in assigned work
- Ability to analyze and identify potential adjustments to improve efficiency
- Demonstrated ability to supervise teams, provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations.

- Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
- Must be able to work with cross-functional teams as well as with colleagues from other departments within assigned area
