We’re looking for a Training Supervisor II to lead the execution, oversight, and continuous improvement of training programs for operational and support personnel across the plant. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising CMT regulatory training systems to ensure employees develop and maintain the competencies, certifications, and qualifications required for their roles. The Training Supervisor II plays a key role in supporting regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and employee development while ensuring adherence to medical device industry quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise initial, recurring, and retraining programs for manufacturing personnel.
- Coordinate and oversee the onboarding process for new employees.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using performance metrics (KPIs).
- Ensure all personnel are trained and certified in safety, GMPs, GDPs, standard procedures, and work instructions before performing production operations.
- Supervise and develop trainers, facilitators, and training staff.
- Monitor compliance with training plans by position, line, process, and shift.
- Ensure adequate cross-training levels across stations, lines, and processes to support business continuity.
- Coordinate training related to: New manufacturing hires, Process changes, Product transfers, Introduction of new equipment or technologies.
- Ensure proper documentation of training in designated systems (e.g., LMS, ETQ, TrackWise, SAP, or other internal systems).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements (FDA, ISO 13485, QSR, GMP).
- Develop and maintain employee skill matrices aligned with the quality system.
- Actively participate in internal, external, and regulatory audits, supporting training and competency topics.
- Analyze skill gaps and propose training plans to improve performance, quality, and productivity.
- Work cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Human Resources to identify training needs.
- Monitor training KPIs and drive continuous improvement actions.
- Promote standardization of training processes and best practices within the plant.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial or Business Administration, Education or a related field.
- Alternatively: Technical degree or at least 50% of a university program completed, plus a minimum of 6 additional years of leadership or similar experience in the medical device industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the medical device industry or another regulated industry.
- At least 2 years in supervisory, leadership, or training roles.
- Experience in manufacturing and plant operations environments.
- Lean / Six Sigma or Training & Development certification preferred.
- Train-the-Trainer” certification is desirable.
- Intermediate to advanced English (B1/B2)
