What you’ll do:
- Provide first-line technical support for infrastructure issues
- Troubleshoot incidents using documentation and knowledge base articles
- Log, update, and manage tickets in ITSM systems
- Communicate clearly with users and provide regular updates
- Escalate issues when needed following support procedures
- Support documentation and knowledge sharing
- Follow structured IT processes (incident, request, escalation workflows)
What we’re looking for
Candidates should demonstrate understanding of core IT concepts, including:
Virtualization & Infrastructure
Virtual machines and hypervisor concepts
Basic understanding of VMware ESXi and VMware vCenter
Networking Fundamentals
TCP/IP basics
DNS and DHCP
VLAN concepts and basic network segmentation
Storage & Backup Concepts
NAS storage fundamentals
Backup types (full vs incremental)
Data recovery and disaster recovery (DR) principles
Basic understanding of replication and deduplication
Cloud Awareness
Cloud computing fundamentals
Subscription-based models
Awareness of platforms like Microsoft Azure (plus AWS / Google Cloud conceptually)
Identity & Security
Active Directory basics
MFA concepts
Firewalls and basic security awareness
Safe handling of data and risk identification
Requirements
- High School Diploma (required)
- Basic IT knowledge (networking, OS, virtualization concepts)
- CCNA modules or equivalent networking knowledge is a plus
- No strict requirement for prior job experience if knowledge can be demonstrated
