EHS Safety Training & Insights Specialist

Job Description

The Safety Training Specialist supports Enterprise Safety by administering safety training in the Global Learning Center platform, providing technical support to users, and translating Safety Council priorities into clear training, reporting, and follow-up actions. The role helps enable consistent execution across business units and sites by connecting training administration, performance visibility, and enterprise safety initiatives to practical business needs.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Manage user access for business unit and site-level EHS leads while ensuring system support aligns with Enterprise Safety governance, Global Learning Center Platform, and Safety Council priorities
• Assign and deploy training to Emerson employees
• Resolve technical issues and provide responsive user support to enable system access, efficient training deployment, and timely execution of enterprise safety initiatives such as critical risk focus areas, audit readiness, corrective action learning, and safety campaign deployment
• Monitor safety training completion rates and identify trends, gaps, and escalation needs that support enterprise learning, risk reduction, and Safety Council focus areas
• Coordinate with local site EHS leaders to ensure compliance with safety training requirements across all sites and business units
• Develop clear summary documentation and reports on Global Learning Center safety training programs for Enterprise Safety leadership, Safety Council updates, reviews, and continuous improvement actions
• Create training KPI dashboards that give business leaders actionable visibility to completion status, overdue requirements, priority programs, and follow-up needs
• Serve as a trusted business partner to Enterprise Safety, Sustainability, site EHS leaders, and business unit stakeholders by supporting Safety Council priorities, enterprise training campaigns, audit program needs, risk management initiatives, and communication follow-up
• Provide timely support, clear communication, practical problem-solving, reliable reporting, and consistent follow-through to help business partners meet safety expectations

For This Role, You Will Need:

• A university bachelor’s degree or pursuing a degree in a relevant field.
• At least 2 to 3 years of work experience in data analytics, training administration, EHS support, or related functions
• Advanced Excel skills, experience with data analytics tools, and a strong ability to identify trends and uncover insights.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Based in Costa Rica
