About Canam Technology
Canam Technology, Inc. designs and manufactures RF telecommunications equipment from our facility in the Zeta Industrial Park & Free Zone in Cartago, Costa Rica. We\'re looking for a hands-on Electronic Technician to join our electrical assemblies manufacturing and telecom quality assurance team. Hands-on experience is very important to us, so we value people who have built, soldered, and tested real hardware.

The Role
As an electronic technician, you will be involved in all phases of the manufacturing process for our electrical assemblies, from production planning and assembly using soldering stations to electrical and RF testing. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys hands-on work with test equipment and product assembly.

What You\'ll Do
• Support production planning for electrical assemblies
• Assemble electronic and electrical components using soldering stations
• Perform electrical and RF testing
• Contribute to quality assurance across wired and wireless telecom products

What We\'re Looking For
• Formal qualification as an Electronic Technician
• Advanced knowledge of test equipment — oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, network and spectrum analyzers
• Proven hands-on experience with soldering stations and tweezers
• Hands-on experience fabricating and testing electrical assemblies
• Professional English proficiency, written and spoken, including technical terminology
• Immediate availability to work full-time, on-site at our Cartago facility

Nice to Have
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a similar position
• Hands-on experience with wireless telecom
