The Role / Responsibilities:

This is an outstanding role in that it brings together business intelligence, financial modeling, and project management support under the Finance umbrella. The right candidate will have a solid understanding of finance concepts and will be able to deal with ambiguity while delivering on projects. This person will be able to help people, businesses, and organizations make decision based on data.

Functional Responsibilities

Support the execution of data and analytics requests from the Finance organization.

Provide project management support on large scale projects and implementation of applications across finance.

Facilitate current state assessment (process mapping), document business and technical requirements.

Collaborate in the creation of Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate) production-ready analytical tools to support repeatable and reusable processes, ensuring quality and accuracy of work.

Build, develop and maintain data models, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions.

Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Filter and "clean" data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and correct code or data problems.

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics or another quantitative field.

3+ years of experience in FP&A, business intelligence, or other relevant field, with data science experience being a plus..

FP&A budgeting and planning cycle knowledge and experience a plus, financial modelling experience preferred..

Proficiency in Power BI or other visualization program (Tableau, Qlikview, etc.), including modelling skills.

Able to work with members of other teams across the organization and be critical to their needs and obligations..

Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills, Experience Preparing Presentations.

Process driven with some understanding of agile/lean six sigma methodologies.

Able to pick up new software quickly and self-train using all available training and internet resources.
