About The Role

Workday is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Partner Finance team in a role passionate about financial performance analysis and reporting. We’re looking for an organized, detail oriented, self-starter with a desire to learn.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare key financial reports used to lead and support the Global Partner Organization.
• Build effective partnerships across the Workday Finance organization.
• Provide qualitative financial analysis around key performance indicators and develop insights on business performance based on the interpretation of financial results.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial and KPI metrics package. Communicate variances to plan/budget to business partners and other key stakeholders. Analyze business results providing advice on the financial impact of operating decisions.
• Support the annual strategic planning process, including the evaluation of key metrics and models.
• Develop strong industry knowledge through collaboration with the business to proactively handle and evaluate future challenges.
• Own regular and ad-hoc reporting and analysis to provide significant metrics and insights.
• Participate in cross-functional efforts to continuously improve data quality and establish rigor in measuring and supervising the business.

Responsabilidades del puesto:

• Preparar informes financieros clave utilizados para dirigir y apoyar las operaciones de ingresos globales.
• Establecer alianzas eficaces en toda la organización de finanzas de Workday.
• Proporcionar análisis financieros cualitativos en torno a indicadores clave de rendimiento y desarrollar información detallada sobre los resultados del negocio en función de la interpretación de los datos financieros.
• Preparar los estados de resultados mensuales y trimestrales y el paquete financiero de alto nivel. Comunicar desviaciones conforme al plan/presupuesto a los socios comerciales y otras partes interesadas. Analizar los resultados del negocio a la vez que se asesora sobre el impacto financiero de las decisiones operativas.
• Apoyar el proceso anual de planificación estratégica, incluyendo la evaluación de métricas y modelos clave.
• Desarrollar un sólido conocimiento del sector mediante la colaboración con la empresa para gestionar y evaluar de forma proactiva los retos futuros.
• Realización de informes y análisis periódicos y ad hoc para proporcionar métricas y perspectivas significativas.

About You

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a finance, accounting, consulting, or related business function.
• Bachelor's degree in a business function such as accounting or finance.
• It is essential to be bilingual in Spanish and English
  
  

Other Qualifications:

• Excellent organization, time management, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Finance system proficiency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to deliver and think ahead.
• Willingness to work independently with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong business sense with ability to apply financial data to help develop insights to business performance.
• Maturity to drive things forward and be a proactive contributor.
• Ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment.
• Finance or Accounting experience in the software or SAAS industry.
• High proficiency with MS Excel (Google Sheets) and PowerPoint (Google Slides).
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Insights or similar financial planning tool preferred.
  
  

Cualificaciones básicas:

• Más de 5 años de experiencia en finanzas, contabilidad, consultoría o funciones empresariales relacionadas.
• Licenciatura en alguna función empresarial como contabilidad o finanzas.
• Bilingüe en español e inglés (excluyente).

• Dominio del sistema financiero.

• Gran sentido empresarial con capacidad para aplicar datos financieros que ayuden a desarrollar perspectivas de rendimiento empresarial.
• Madurez para impulsar las cosas y ser un colaborador proactivo.
• Capacidad de adaptación a los rápidos cambios del negocio y las organizaciones, que acompañan a un entorno de gran crecimiento.
• Experiencia en finanzas o contabilidad en el sector del software o SAAS.
• Alto dominio de MS Excel (Google Sheets) y PowerPoint (Google Slides).
• Preferiblemente, experiencia con Workday Adaptive Insights o una herramienta de planificación financiera similar.
